Alumni from the Pan European Univerty's MBA

My name is Sun Guangqin and I am studying for my MBA at CEIBA Business School, a pan-European university in Prague. This academic journey has had a profound impact on my career in the hospitality industry and I am scheduled to graduate in 2024. My time at CEIBA Business School was not only an accumulation of knowledge, but also an accelerator for my personal and professional growth, especially in leadership development, where I experienced transformative growth.

During my MBA program, I had the privilege of working on a project that focused on digital innovation to enhance customer service. This program not only greatly broadened my perspective on the central role of technology in reshaping the service industry, but also gave me a practical set of tools and methods to effectively drive innovation and change in the workplace in my future work. Through in-depth analysis of customer needs, combined with the latest digital technology, our team designed a series of innovative service models, and these practical experiences have become valuable assets in my career.

After graduation, I quickly became the general manager of a prestigious hotel chain with the knowledge and skills I learned in the MBA program. In this role, I was able to put what I learned into practice, implementing a range of cutting-edge service and operational strategies. From the detailed adjustment of optimizing customer experience to the overall layout of improving operational efficiency, each step embodies my understanding and application of the essence of MBA courses. These efforts not only significantly improved guest satisfaction, but also effectively enhanced the market competitiveness of the hotel and brought considerable business growth for the company.

The MBA program not only provided me with a deep insight into global market trends, but also deepened my understanding of operations management. From the latest developments in the global hotel industry to the subtle changes in the local market, I can accurately analyze multiple dimensions to develop more forward-looking and effective management strategies. These valuable insights have undoubtedly provided a solid theoretical foundation and practical guidance for my decision-making in the field of hotel management.

For those of you who are studying or considering this path, I want to share this: Every class discussion, every team work, every practical project is the building block of your future career. Embrace the challenges, because it is these challenges that can inspire your potential and shape you to become the best in the hospitality industry. Don’t be afraid to fail, because every fall is a step toward success.

In addition, I am deeply honored to maintain close ties with CEIBA Business School and the China-Pacific Economics&Management Research Institute in Chengdu. These institutions are not only temples of knowledge, but also platforms for industry exchanges. I often participate in seminars and workshops organized by them to discuss the latest trends and challenges in hospitality management with industry elites and academic authorities, which not only broadens my network of contacts, but also enables me to continue to learn and maintain industry acumen.

All in all, my MBA journey was a journey full of challenges and rewards, which not only opened the door for me to the top management of the hotel industry, but also endowed me with the ability to lead the change and lead the innovation. I firmly believe that as long as we maintain our enthusiasm for learning and have the courage to practice, everyone can shine in their own field and create their own brilliant chapter.
